Logan Browning looked so cute at the Vh1 Do Something Awards Wednesday night! I liked her look so much that I wanted to go out and find it. As we all can tell, even by her Louboutin shoes, this look could be pretty pricey! So, I've decided to find her pieces for much les!

Has anyone ever said to you, "You're already pretty, why do you wear makeup?" I have heard this time and time again, and I'm sure other women who wear makeup have also. I've noticed that some mistake a woman's use of makeup as an act of insecurity, saying that she "hides behind makeup" to cover up flaws. I have even had people insinuate that I am unhappy with what God gave me. Contrary to this common misconception, this is not the reason for women's use of Makeup. From blush to lipstick, makeup is used to enhance the beautiful features women already have, not cover any of them up. Wearing makeup is not a sign of low-self esteem or insecurity. It is actually exactly the opposite. We are aware of our facial structure and we use makeup to MAGNIFY our best features. There is only one product used to "cover up". That product is concealer. It is often used to "conceal" blemishes. Blemishes are stains (scars, discoloration, etc.) that "flaw the perfection of" the face. Now, what God gives us (our natural faces) before blemishes is perfect. Blemishes flaw this perfection. Concealer helps with enhancing the perfection. Makeup is not "The Enemy"! It is your friend, "The Enhancer"! While makeup is our friend, so is skin care! Make sure you are using cosmetic products that are good for your skin, removing your makeup before bed, and treating blemishes before and after makeup use with skin care products! Take care of your skin and wear your makeup proudly, ladies! Happy Friday!

From her red nails to her bedazzled sandals and sleek sunglasses, Lauren London effortlessly served us nothing but chic. The new leading lady of the BET series, "The Game", arrived at the Essence Festival dressed comfortably, yet Oh So SOPHISTOCATED! She sported a simple fitted black dress, but set it off with cheetah print shades and jeweled sandals! She shows how a small hint of cheetah and sparkle can spruce up any basic black outfit! Love this look!

I am definitely a Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Fan! The last few episodes, DJ Traci Steele and Rasheeda's Makeup were so hot, I decided to create my own version of their looks with the most accessible and inexpensive products I had in my makeup bag! Most of them were Cover Girl and beauty supply favorites. Now, you can get my look! Here is the video step-by-step tutorial of how I did it. Hope you guys enjoy it! Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week features the biggest French designers and their "haute" collection! This year gave way for designers like Armani, Chanel, Valentino, and McQueen to wow the runways of Paris with their couture looks and beautiful pieces. Armani took us back to the late 30s with delicate chiffon gowns and glamorous pants suits! Jean Paul Gaultier got "catty" gracing the catwalk with sexy leopard prints and seductive silhouettes! Alexander McQueen gave us nothing but FIERCE with renaissance inspired looks, very reminiscent of Beyonce's fit in her "Bow Down" video. Speaking of the star, Beyonce; Paris Fashion Week was studded with stars from pop singer, Rihanna, to former editor of Harper's Bazaar, Miroslava Duma! Check out pics from the year's biggest fashion event!

I just think these pictures are so beautiful! They are the perfect representation of Black class! Our black is so beautiful, no matter the shade, shape, or size! As African American women we should embrace that beauty! Everytime you get dressed, incorporate a bit of class. Sexy is not the defining point of beauty. Class, however, is a point! You do not have to be naked to exude sexy either! That is a myth. These women are fully clothed and look BOMB! They also look UNITED! Something I see a lot amongst African American Women is division... Why, though? We are all Black QUEENS! There is no need to hate, ladies! YOU are beautiful! Embrace your own beauty, and accept the next woman for hers! Love yourself. Love your culture. And whatever you do... do it with CLASS ;-)

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."
